Out of the many thousands of charities, it is hard to just pick one or two. But our belief is that supporting one or two charities with a purpose that we can relate to hopefully enables us to make a difference. A portion of our proceeds from the sale of our books and merchandise will go to the following charities that we happily support:

The Canine Companions for Independence (CCI)
CCI is a nonprofit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities and to professional caregivers. For more information, visit the CCI Web site: www.caninecompanions.org.

The Red Wagon Society The Red Wagon Society helps provide patient care, conduct research, train pediatricians, and improve the health of children at the Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles.

We encourage everyone to get involved with a charity of your choice. It is very rewarding spiritually and satisfying to know that you are making a difference in this world. If money is limited, try giving of your time. Volunteers are always needed.

We encourage people to sign up as our Midas Volunteers. This is a group of people who are willing to donate their time to read to children at a local organization, whether it be at the Children's Hospital, the local elementary school, or the local public library. Many people want to get involved and do something like this, but just don't know how to go about doing it. Being a Midas Volunteer gives you a sense of family, of purpose, and a satisfying feeling knowing that people all over the world are committed to giving back some time to the kids.
